Spicy Chicken Piccata

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 cup Chicken Stock
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Capers
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and coat lightly in flour.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until golden on both sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Cook until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken stock, lemon juice, capers, and chili flakes to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a simmer and allow to cook for about 10 minutes, until the sauce has reduced slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon some of the sauce over the top. Allow the chicken to cook in the sauce for a few minutes, until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.
