Slow Cooked Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Pork Shoulder
  • 2 cups Barbecue Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 6 buns Hamburger Buns

Instructions:

  1. Place the pork shoulder into a slow cooker. Sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Pour over the pork shoulder.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until pork is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.
  4. Remove the pork from the slow cooker. Use two forks to shred the meat, discarding any fat.
  5. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir well to combine with the sauce.
  6. Serve the pulled pork on toasted hamburger buns. Enjoy this comforting meal anytime!
