
Sicilian Swordfish

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Swordfish steaks
- to taste Sea salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup Dry white wine
- 1 cup Tomato passata
- 1 tablespoon Capers
- handful Black olives
- 1 Fresh lemon
Instructions:
- Season the swordfish steaks with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the swordfish steaks to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the dry white wine to the skillet, scraping the bottom to deglaze. Allow the wine to reduce by half.
- Add the tomato passata, capers, and olives to the skillet. Stir well and let simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the swordfish back into the skillet and simmer for another 5-7 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and the flavors have blended together.
- Slice the lemon and squeeze the juice over the swordfish just before serving. Enjoy your Sicilian Swordfish!
