Servings: 4
Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 35 mins
Ingredients:
- 500 grams Mixed seafood (prawns, scallops, squid)
- 1 whole Green bell pepper
- 1 whole Red bell pepper
- 1 whole Yellow bell pepper
- 3 whole Garlic cloves
- 2 whole Lemons
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Prepare the seafood by ensuring it is clean, de-shelled, and cut into bite-sized pieces if necessary. Set aside in the fridge.
- Chop the garlic finely and squeeze the juice of the lemons. Mix together with the soy sauce, some olive oil, and some salt and pepper to create a marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the seafood, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
- While that is marinating, chop the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat up your teppanyaki griddle or a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Drizzle some olive oil on the griddle and start to sauté the bell peppers. Season with a bit of salt and pepper and cook until they begin to soften.
- Push the bell peppers to one side of the griddle, then add the marinated seafood to the other side. Cook for about 5 minutes, then mix everything together and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked to your liking.
- Serve immediately, while still hot from the griddle. Enjoy your Seafood Teppanyaki!
