Seafood Teppanyaki

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 20 mins

Cook Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 35 mins

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Mixed seafood (prawns, scallops, squid)
  • 1 whole Green bell pepper
  • 1 whole Red bell pepper
  • 1 whole Yellow bell pepper
  • 3 whole Garlic cloves
  • 2 whole Lemons
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the seafood by ensuring it is clean, de-shelled, and cut into bite-sized pieces if necessary. Set aside in the fridge.
  2. Chop the garlic finely and squeeze the juice of the lemons. Mix together with the soy sauce, some olive oil, and some salt and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the seafood, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While that is marinating, chop the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Heat up your teppanyaki griddle or a large frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Drizzle some olive oil on the griddle and start to sauté the bell peppers. Season with a bit of salt and pepper and cook until they begin to soften.
  7. Push the bell peppers to one side of the griddle, then add the marinated seafood to the other side. Cook for about 5 minutes, then mix everything together and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked to your liking.
  8. Serve immediately, while still hot from the griddle. Enjoy your Seafood Teppanyaki!
