Ingredients:

  • 2 medium size Potatoes
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • for deep frying Oil
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • as needed Water
  • to taste Salt

Instructions:

  1. Boil the potatoes and peas until they are soft.
  2. Mash the potatoes and mix with peas, and add the spices.
  3. Make a soft dough with the flour, a little salt, and water.
  4. Roll the dough thinly into circles, and cut each circle in half.
  5. Take one half and fold into a cone shape. Fill this with the potato and peas mixture, and seal the edges with water.
  6. Heat the oil in a deep pan and, when hot, add the samosas in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
