
Quick Thai Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:
- 1 lb Beef sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 Red bell pepper
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 Lime
- 1 handful Fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- 1. Slice the beef into thin strips. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook half of the beef for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining beef.
- 2. Lower the heat to medium, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- 3. Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil, then the sliced onion, red bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- 4. Return the beef to the pan. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well to coat.
- 5. Cut lime into halves. Squeeze the juice from half of the lime over the stir-fry. Cut the other half into wedges for serving.
- 6. Scatter a handful of fresh basil leaves over the top of the stir-fry. Serve it hot with rice and lime wedges.
