Quick & Simple Japanese Breakfast Fish Rice Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Fish fillets
  • 1 cup Japanese rice
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 2 stalks Spring onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Japanese rice according to the package instructions.
  2. While the rice is cooking, pan-fry the fish fillets on medium heat until they are cooked through and crispy on both sides.
  3. Combine the soy sauce and mirin in a bowl, then pour the mixture over the cooked fish fillets.
  4. Thinly slice the spring onions.
  5. Once the rice is cooked, divide it into two bowls.
  6. Place the fish fillet on top of the rice in each bowl, then sprinkle the spring onions and sesame seeds over the top.
