Ingredients:
- 1 piece Pizza dough
- 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
- 8 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
- A handful Fresh Basil Leaves
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- To taste Salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 475 F (245 C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into your desired size and thickness.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
- Slice the mozzarella and distribute it evenly across the sauce.
- Transfer the pizza (on a pizza peel or an inverted baking sheet) onto the preheated pizza stone, or bake directly on the baking sheet if you don't have a stone.
- Bake the pizza for about 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and starting to brown.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately top with fresh basil leaves. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt to taste.
