Quick Italian Bruschetta

Ingredients:

  • 1 Whole French Baguette
  • 2 Whole Ripe tomatoes
  • 2 Whole Garlic cloves
  • A handful Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Slice the baguette diagonally into 1 inch thick slices.
  2. On a medium-high heat, toast the slices on a pan until crisp and lightly golden.
  3. Peel and slice the garlic cloves into half and rub on the toasted slices of baguette.
  4. Dice the tomatoes. Toss them with salt, pepper and half the olive oil.
  5. Top the toasted bread slices with the tomato mixture.
  6. Drizzle the rest of the olive oil on top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your quick Italian Bruschetta.
