Quick & Easy Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound Pork loin
  • 1 medium Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 small White Onion
  • 1/2 cup Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pork into small bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the soy sauce. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. While the pork is marinating, chop the red and green bell peppers and onion into roughly the same size as the pork pieces.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook until it's browned on all sides.
  4. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside. In the same wok, add the chopped onions and peppers. Cook until they're tender.
  5. Return the pork to the wok, add the sweet and sour sauce and remaining soy sauce. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are coated in the sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is heated through.
  7. Serve immediately, enjoy as snack or main course.
