Quick & Easy Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, boil the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan and sauté until the garlic is golden, around 2 minutes.
  4. Once the spaghetti is done, drain it and save some pasta water.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan with garlic and oil. Toss well to coat.
  6. Add pasta water if needed to make it saucier.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss again.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and parmesan cheese before serving.
