Quick & Easy Midnight Chow Mein

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • 100 grams bean sprouts
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Once tender, drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. In a large pan or wok, heat oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped green onions, bean sprouts, julienned carrot, and thinly sliced bell pepper to the pan. Stir fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until veggies are slightly tender.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the pan, then pour your sauce mixture over top. Toss everything together and stir fry for another 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  6. Serve your Quick & Easy Midnight Chow Mein hot, garnish with additional green onions if desired. Enjoy your late-night treat!
