Quick & Easy Japanese Yakisoba Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Soba Noodles
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 piece Garlic Clove
  • 1 piece Carrot
  • 1 piece Green Bell Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • for garnish White Sesame Seeds

Instructions:

  1. Cook the soba noodles according to package instructions. Once cooked, rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden.
  3. Add julienned carrots and chopped bell pepper to the pan. Stir-fry for a couple of minutes until they are slightly tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Add the cooked soba noodles and the sauce mixture to the pan and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes, making sure all ingredients are well coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve the yakisoba noodles hot, garnished with white sesame seeds.
