Quick & Easy Japanese Pasta (Yaki Udon)

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Udon noodles
  • 1 unit Onion
  • 2 unit Carrots
  • 2 unit Bell peppers
  • 100 grams Shiitake mushrooms
  • 2 unit Green onions
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil the udon noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. While the noodles are boiling, chop the onion, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, and green onions.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the onion, carrots, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for about 5 minutes, until they start to soften.
  5. Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan, along with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is well combined and heated through.
  6. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with the chopped green onions.
