Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons White miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 2 pieces Spring onions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and granulated sugar in a small bowl. This is your miso glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet with the miso glaze, making sure to coat thoroughly.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
  5. While the salmon is baking, thinly slice the spring onions and toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown.
  6. When ready to serve, sprinkle the baked salmon with the toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions. Serve hot with a side of steamed rice and vegetables, if desired.
