Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons White miso paste
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
- 2 pieces Spring onions
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Whisk together the white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, and granulated sugar in a small bowl. This is your miso glaze.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet with the miso glaze, making sure to coat thoroughly.
- Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact cooking time will depend on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
- While the salmon is baking, thinly slice the spring onions and toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown.
- When ready to serve, sprinkle the baked salmon with the toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions. Serve hot with a side of steamed rice and vegetables, if desired.
