Quick & Easy Japanese Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Boneless chicken thighs
  • 3/4 cup Teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 4 servings Cooked white rice
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and cook until browned, about 7-9 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Add the remaining oil and the teriyaki sauce to the skillet.
  4. Bring the sauce to a simmer and then add the chicken back to the skillet.
  5. Cook the chicken for another 5-7 minutes, or until it is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Slice the green onions into thin circles.
  7. Serve the chicken over the cooked rice, topped with the green onions and sesame seeds.
