
Quick & Easy Japanese Beef Bowl (Gyudon)

Ingredients:
- 0.5 lb Beef ribeye or sirloin
- 1 large Onion
- 4 cups Cooked rice
- 1 cup Dashi stock or water
- 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Mirin
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 for garnish Green onions
Instructions:
- Thinly slice the beef and onion.
- In a large skillet, combine the beef, onion, dashi (or water), soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the onion is tender.
- Serve the beef and onion mixture over the cooked rice.
- Garnish with the green onions, and serve immediately.
