
Quick & Easy Italian Pork Orecchiette

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
- Pinch Red chili flakes
- 1 lb Ground pork
- 0.5 lb Orecchiette pasta
- 1 can Can of diced tomatoes
- 10 leaves Fresh basil leaves, torn
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red chili flakes, cook for 1 minute until garlic is fragrant.
- Add the ground pork to the pan, season with salt and pepper. Cook until the pork is browned and no longer pink. Break up any large chunks of pork as it cooks.
- While the pork is cooking, boil the orecchiette pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Add the can of diced tomatoes to the pan with the pork and stir. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta and torn basil leaves to the pan and stir until everything is well combined.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
