Quick & Easy Italian Pasta Snack

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Pasta
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 100 grams Cherry tomatoes
  • Handful Basil leaves
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt and the pasta. Cook according to packet instructions until al dente.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan, season with salt and pepper. Cook until tomatoes are soft and release their juices.
  4. Drain the cooked pasta, reserving some of the pasta cooking water. Add the pasta to the pan with the tomatoes and garlic, stir well to combine.
  5. Tear the basil leaves and add to the pan, stir well. If the pasta looks dry, add a little of the reserved pasta cooking water.
  6. Grate the Parmesan cheese over the pasta, stir until it melts into the pasta. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with a few more basil leaves. Enjoy your quick and tasty Italian Pasta Snack!
