
Quick & Easy Italian Beef Pasta

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 large onion
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 12 oz penne pasta
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, until it's browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Once the beef is browned, remove it from the skillet and set it aside. Keep the pan on the heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan. Add the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Stir everything together. Allow this to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- Once the beef mixture has simmered, taste it and add salt and pepper as needed.
- Add the cooked pasta to the beef mixture. Stir everything until it's well combined. Allow this to cook for a couple of more minutes, just to let the flavors meld together.
- Serve hot, maybe with some grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy your quick & easy Italian beef pasta!
