Quick & Easy Indian-Style Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium size Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • for garnish Fresh coriander

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta as per the package instructions until al dente, and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Saute the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent and aromatic.
  3. Add the chilli, turmeric, and cumin powder to the pan, and stir well for a minute.
  4. Add the tomato sauce to the pan and mix well. Cook for a while until the mixture thickens slightly.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the pan and stir until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season the pasta with salt as per taste. Garnish the pasta with fresh coriander before serving.
