
Quick & Easy Indian Shrimp Masala

Ingredients:
- 250 grams Shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
- 1 large Tomato, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
- 1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté until the onions are translucent.
- 2. Add the chopped tomato to the skillet. Cook until tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- 3. Add garam masala, chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the skillet. Stir well to mix the spices with the onion and tomato mixture.
- 4. Add the shrimp into the skillet and toss until they are coated with the spice mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through.
- 5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot. This dish pairs well with a side of steamed basmati rice or warm naan bread.
