Quick & Easy Indian Rice Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • for garnish Cilantro leaves

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the mustard seeds and curry leaves. Cook until the mustard seeds start to pop.
  3. Add the cooked rice to the pan. Mix well to combine with the mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  4. Add the turmeric powder and salt. Stir again to evenly distribute the spices.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the lemon juice.
  6. Garnish with cilantro leaves before serving.
