Quick & Easy French Pork Casserole

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Pork tenderloin
  • 200 ml Red wine
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to serve French bread

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Add pork tenderloin and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pot, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the wine, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
  4. 4. Return pork to pot. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5. Cover pot and transfer to preheated oven. Bake until pork is no longer pink in the center, about 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
  6. 6. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with French bread.
