Quick & Easy French Chicken Croissant

Ingredients:

  • 2 pcs Chicken breast
  • 2 pcs Fresh croissants
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Fresh thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breast to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink in the centre, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. Then slice it into thin strips.
  5. Spread the remaining butter and Dijon mustard on the inside of the croissants. Add the sliced chicken.
  6. Serve hot. Optionally garnish with some additional thyme.
