Quick & Easy French Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cup White wine
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add white wine to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for a minute or so until the wine has reduced by half.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard and heavy cream. Bring to a low simmer and cook for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Let it simmer for a couple more minutes to let the chicken soak up the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
