Quick & Easy Chinese Pork Stir Fry

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless pork loin
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions:

  1. Slice the pork into thin strips and set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, and garlic. Add the pork to the bowl and stir it to coat it in the sauce. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the pork is marinating, slice the bell peppers, onions, and green onions.
  4. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the pork and stir fry it until it is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and onions. Stir fry them until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pork back into the skillet and stir everything together. Serve the stir fry over the cooked rice and garnish it with the sliced green onions.
