
Quick & Easy Chinese Breakfast Fish Congee

Ingredients:
- 500 grams White fish fillets
- 1 cup Jasmine rice
- 8 cups Water
- 4 stalks Green onions
- 2 slices Ginger
- to taste Soy Sauce
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
Instructions:
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- In a large pot, add the rinsed rice, water, and ginger slices. Bring to a boil on high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is broken down into a porridge-like consistency.
- Chop the white fish fillets into bite-size pieces and add it to the pot. Cook until the fish is fully cooked, about 5 minutes.
- Chop the green onions into small rounds and add to the pot. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Season the congee with soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
