Quick & Easy Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 whole Bell peppers
  • 1 whole Onion
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • to serve Cooked white rice

Instructions:

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and soy sauce, and marinate the beef in this mixture for 5 minutes.
  2. Mince the garlic and cut the bell peppers and onion into strips.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until it is fully cooked, then remove it from the wok.
  4. Add the remaining vegetable oil, then add the garlic, bell peppers, onion, and broccoli. Stir-fry for approximately 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked beef back into the wok, drizzle with sesame oil and stir well to combine.
  6. Serve the stir-fry hot over white rice.
