Quick Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 4 stalks scallions
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 cups white rice

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  2. In the meantime, marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Chop the garlic, ginger, and scallions.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Saute the ginger and garlic for a minute or two, then add the scallions and cook until fragrant.
  6. Increase heat to high and add the marinated beef. Stir fry until the beef is fully cooked.
  7. Serve the stir-fry over rice. Enjoy your quick and easy Chinese breakfast.
