Quick and Easy Thai Shrimp Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Fresh Shrimp
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 whole Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 whole Yellow Onion
  • 1 cup Thai Basil Leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Clean and peel the shrimp, leaving the tails intact. Devein if desired.
  2. Mince the garlic. Slice the bell pepper and onion into thin strips.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and stir fry until pink.
  5. Add the onion and bell pepper, stir fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a generous amount of black pepper. Cook for another minute.
  7. Turn off the heat and stir in the Thai basil leaves. Serve immediately with steamed Jasmine rice.
