
Quick and Easy Pasta Pomodoro

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Spaghetti pasta
- 4 whole Ripe tomatoes
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 bunch Fresh basil leaves
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 50 grams Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Boil water in a large pot. Once boiling, add salt and pasta. Cook until al dente and drain, reserving a cup of pasta water.
- While the pasta is cooking, cut the tomatoes into cubes, chop the garlic, and thinly slice the basil leaves.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the tomato sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin out the sauce.
- Stir in the fresh basil and grated parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately, with additional parmesan cheese on top if desired.
