Quick and Easy Midnight Shrimp Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Shrimp
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 cups Cooked white rice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the vegetables by mincing the garlic, chopping the green onions and slicing the bell pepper.
  2. Combine the soy sauce, honey, cornstarch and water in a bowl.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  7. Add the bell pepper to the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until slightly softened.
  8. Return the shrimp to the pan and add the sauce, stirring to combine.
  9. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  10. Serve the stir-fry over the cooked rice and garnish with green onions.
