Quick and Easy Chicken Teriyaki

Ingredients:

  • 2 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and minced garlic. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6 to 7 minutes.
  4. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken. Stir to coat the chicken with the sauce.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the water. Add this slurry to the skillet, and stir well.
  6. Cook for a few more minutes, until the sauce is thickened.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
