Quick and Easy Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • to taste Salt

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, melt the butter on medium heat.
  2. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until it turns translucent and starts to brown.
  3. Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pan and sauté for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the garam masala and red chili powder to the pan and mix well.
  5. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they start to turn white.
  6. Add the tomato puree to the pan, cover it, and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Once the chicken is fully cooked, add the heavy cream and salt to the pan and mix well.
  8. Cover the pan again and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve the butter chicken hot with rice or naan.
