Pasta Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Spaghetti
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup Parsley
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic, stirring often, until golden, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add red pepper flakes and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
  4. Add pasta and 1/2 cup reserved pasta water to pan. Cook, tossing and adding more pasta water if needed, until a glossy sauce forms.
  5. Remove from heat, add parsley, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve with extra red pepper flakes on top. Enjoy your delicious snack!
