Ingredients:
- 4 piece Chicken Thighs
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1.5 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- enough to fill pan 1/2 inch Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
- Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Soak the chicken in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan until it reaches a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take a piece of chicken from the buttermilk, let excess drip off, then coat it thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil. Repeat with the remaining chicken pieces. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Fry the chicken for about 15 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and let it drain on paper towels.
