
Midnight Shrimp Grits

Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound shrimp
- to taste salt & black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grits
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, milk, and grits. Stir until well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until the grits are tender.
- Stir in the cheese until melted.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and stir until warmed.
- Serve your midnight shrimp grits immediately and enjoy!
