Midnight Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb Beef Steak
  • 1 piece Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 2 pieces Hoagie Rolls
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions:

  1. Thinly slice the beef steak, green bell pepper, and onion.
  2. Heat a pan with the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef steak to the pan and cook until browned.
  4. Add the sliced green bell pepper and onion to the pan and cook until vegetables are softened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Slice the hoagie rolls open and divide the cooked steak and vegetables evenly between them.
  7. Top each sandwich with two slices of provolone cheese.
  8. Wrapping the sandwiches in aluminium foil, put them in an oven preheated to 350° F for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Remove the sandwiches from the oven, let them rest for a minute, then enjoy your midnight cravings with a Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
  10. Remember to store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
