
Midnight Parisian Pasta

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Pasta
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- 1 can Canned crushed tomatoes
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- a bunch Fresh basil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- 1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
- 2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes and cook until the onions are translucent, about 5 mins.
- 3. Add the canned crushed tomatoes to the pan, stirring well. Season with salt and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 10 mins.
- 4. Drain the pasta and add it directly to the pan with the sauce. Toss to combine.
- 5. Tear a handful of fresh basil leaves and add them to the pan, stirring to combine.
- 6. Sprinkle the pasta with grated parmesan cheese and serve hot.
