Midnight Mexican Pulled Pork Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Pork Shoulder
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 whole Onion
  • 2 whole Jalapeno Peppers
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 8 pieces Flour Tortillas
  • to taste Cheddar Cheese
  • to taste Lettuce
  • to taste Tomato
  • to taste Sour Cream

Instructions:

  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper and cumin powder.
  2. Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
  3. Add smashed garlic, sliced onion and jalapeno peppers to the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for about 6 hours until the pork is easily shredded with a fork.
  6. Shred the pork and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker.
  7. Warm the flour tortillas on a pan or directly on the stove flame.
  8. Assemble the tacos by placing the shredded pork on a tortilla, followed by cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes and a dollop of sour cream.
  9. Repeat the above step for the remaining tortillas.
  10. Your Midnight Mexican Pulled Pork Tacos are ready to serve.
