Midnight Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Macaroni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup, grated Cheddar cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain.
  2. In a separate pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to create a roux.
  3. Pour in the milk, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Gradually add cheese to the milk mixture, continuing to stir until all the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly.
  5. Add cooked macaroni to the sauce, and stir until the pasta is fully coated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your satisfying midnight meal!
