Midnight Chinese Comfort Baked Fish

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece Whole white fish (like snapper or cod)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons Light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 2 pieces Red chili peppers, sliced
  • To taste Cilantro, chopped for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Clean the fish thoroughly and pat dry. Make 3 deep cuts on each side of the fish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the sesame oil, soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and sliced chili peppers.
  4. Place the fish in a baking dish and pour the mixture over it, making sure it goes into the cuts and inside the fish.
  5. Bake the fish in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until it's cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious midnight comfort food.
