Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Beef sirloin steak
- 0.25 cup Soy sauce
- 0.25 cup Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon Minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 2 stalks Green onions
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Start by cooking the rice as per the instructions on the package.
- For the teriyaki sauce, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl. Set aside.
- Thinly slice the beef sirloin steak. This is easier if the meat is partially frozen.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, and then add the beef slices.
- Cook the beef for about 2 minutes on each side, or until it is nearly cooked through.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the beef, and continue to cook for another 2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the beef is well coated.
- While the beef is cooking, chop up the green onions.
- Serve the beef over the cooked rice, and garnish with the green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy your delicious late-night snack!
