Midnight Beef Ragu

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Beef slices
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Can Canned diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cups Red wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Cups Fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 Cups Parmesan cheese
  • 300 grams Cooked Spaghetti

Instructions:

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pan.
  2. 2. Add the beef slices and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. 3. Crush the garlic and add to the pan. Sautee until golden brown.
  4. 4. Pour in the canned diced tomatoes, red wine, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Return the beef to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the fresh basil leaves and simmer for another 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve over cooked spaghetti and garnish with parmesan cheese.
