Midnight Beef Bourguignon

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Beef chuck
- 2 cups Red Wine
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 large Yellow Onion
- 1 large Carrot
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- 1 loaf Baguette
Instructions:
- 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides.
- 2. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside. In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, and carrot and cook until softened.
- 3. Add the flour to the pot and stir to coat the vegetables. Slowly pour in the red wine while stirring continuously.
- 4. Return the beef to the pot and add the beef broth, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Serve the beef bourguignon with slices of baguette.
