Midnight BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast
  • 1 bottle Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 Soft Buns
  • 1 bowl Coleslaw

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. 2. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and salt. Rub this mixture all over the pork roast.
  3. 3. Place the roast in a dutch oven or similar. Pour the apple cider vinegar and half of the BBQ sauce over the roast. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  4. 4. Cook the roast in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the pork is very tender and can be shredded with a fork.
  5. 5. Once done, remove the pork from the oven and shred it using two forks. Mix in the remaining BBQ sauce.
  6. 6. Take a soft bun, place a generous serving of the shredded pork, add some coleslaw on the top, and close with the top bun.
  7. 7. Repeat with the remaining buns.
  8. 8. Serve your delicious midnight pulled pork sandwich hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
