Mexican Seafood Tacos

Servings: 4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 8 pieces Small corn tortillas
  • 1 piece Lime
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro
  • 1 piece Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream

Instructions:

  1. 1. Season the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, and cayenne. Then dredge in the flour to coat, shaking off the excess flour.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add fish to the skillet and cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. 3. Heat a sauté pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Warm the tortillas in the pan or griddle until they are soft and pliable, about 30 seconds on each side.
  4. 4. Flake the cooked tilapia into pieces and divide evenly among the warmed tortillas.
  5. 5. Top each taco with diced avocado, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, a spoonful of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
