Servings: 4
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces Tilapia fillets
- 1/2 cup All purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 8 pieces Small corn tortillas
- 1 piece Lime
- 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro
- 1 piece Avocado
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
Instructions:
- 1. Season the tilapia fillets with salt, pepper, and cayenne. Then dredge in the flour to coat, shaking off the excess flour.
- 2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add fish to the skillet and cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside.
- 3. Heat a sauté pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Warm the tortillas in the pan or griddle until they are soft and pliable, about 30 seconds on each side.
- 4. Flake the cooked tilapia into pieces and divide evenly among the warmed tortillas.
- 5. Top each taco with diced avocado, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, a spoonful of sour cream, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
