Mediterranean Seafood Tapas

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg Fresh shrimp
  • 0.5 kg Fresh squid rings
  • 3 whole Garlic cloves
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Begin by washing the seafood and draining it dry.
  2. Heat a large, non-stick pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the olive oil and the chopped garlic, cook until softened.
  4. Turn the heat up to high, then add the seafood to the pan.
  5. Stir regularly until the shrimp and squid have turned pink and opaque, indicating they are completely cooked.
  6. Season with salt and pepper while cooking.
  7. Chop the parsley and zest the lemon, adding them into the pan.
  8. Squeeze the lemon juice over the seafood and stir thoroughly to incorporate all flavors.
  9. Check seasoning once more, adjust if necessary.
