Mediterranean Pita Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces whole wheat pita bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves, crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup, shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup, crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup sliced Roma tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Brush each pita bread with olive oil and sprinkle with crushed garlic.
  3. Top each one with half of the mozzarella and feta cheeses.
  4. Arrange sliced tomatoes and olives on the cheeses.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is melted and browned slightly.
